Sandspit

The Visitor Centre is in the airport. It’s fully staffed and open daily seasonally only from June 1 to August 31. Marine charts are located in the trip planning area along with a 3-D relief model of the islands. Books, card racks, and a great display area provide lots of travel and local information. A gift area features locally made art and souvenirs. 250-637-5362.

Queen Charlotte

The Visitor Centre on Wharf St. is open year round. Hours are extended during peak season. Books, marine charts and topographic maps of the entire islands are available as references. Masset

The Visitor Information booth is located on highway 16 at the entrance to town on the right. It’s open seasonally (250) 626-3982. Year round call Masset Village Office (250) 626-3995 or access their website at www.massetbc.com

Gwaii Haanas Office

The Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site office is located at the Haida Heritage Centre, 60 Second Beach Road, Skidegate.
The office is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Travel to Gwaii Haanas with a guided tour group, or independently. Independent visitors must make travel reservations and attend an orientation session.
